Quinn

Quinn is a blue female born at the height on the onset of Covid. She is a quieter dog who prefers being home becuase of the restrictions on shows and events during her puppyhood and adolescense. Despite that, she is a UKC champion, and finished that title in the minimum amount of shows, garnering group placements in competitive Gun dog groups along the way. She was shown in a corded coat as you can see from photos.  She is friendly, sweet, and obedient, and easily handled by strangers. Vivacious and fun at home, always cuddled with family on the couch and playful with other dogs. She enjoys nosework and has an excellent nose. She LOVES to retrieve and swim, and will often be found swimming at her co - owner's lake home. She is halfway to her AKC fast cat title, and is a higer prey drive dog who likes to chase the lure and small animals.  She is free from anxiety and is not barky or destructive. Just a lovely little gal to have around the house. Quinn is now co-owned with Roxanne and Owen and lives primarily with them and their other dog Bronco now. She will return for breeding and showing. 

She has an excellent hard correct coat that doesn't mat easily as an adult. In fact, she was difficult to cord becuase her coat does not like to mat! She is a dark medium blue color. She is correctly built with a good front set under her body and a moderate matching rear.  Because of this balance, she moves cleanly and correctly. Her neck is a bit short and her head is a bit shorter and wider than I like, but she is still pleasing to look at and has nice chiseling on her muzzle! She has tight feet and a correctly set tail, good ear set, and a correct bite. She is smaller than our average standard at about 38 lbs and stands 21 inches at the shoulder. 

Her parents our our multi titled, top winning Perdita, and her sire is the highly decorated and top winning Clark from Autumn hills poodles. You can find info on Perdita here. Clark is AKC BIS Platinum Grand Champion Autumn Hills Super Hero, and he was a top 5 standard poodle in AKC for multiple years. He also has multiple AKC Best in show and reserve Best in Show awards! We were thrilled to be able to use a dog of his caliber with our Perdita, and honored she trusted me with this breeding. Clark is pictured in the gallery below. 

Her health testing is complete and clear, and she has earned the breed's best helath acheivement, her CHIC #. Copies of all her health testing and that of her parents can be found here :

She has passed her veterinary exams for OFA: Hips, Elbows, Heart, Eyes, thyroid, PRA and PRCD4 (carrier), VON WILLEBRANDS disease, Neonatal Encephalopathy, Degenerative Myelopathy, and DNA Genetic Diversity screening through UC Dais/Betterbred. She has also tested clear for all other 220 diseases less prevalent in poodles through Embark dna testing. She is fully haired with no evidence of SA, does not have Addison's disease and has never bloated (these are common in poodles but no way to test for them at this time).
